The dock is located in the center of Parainen, close to services. A fuel station and a septic waste disposal point are available at the Parainen guest marina, which is a few hundred meters away by boat from Munkviken marina.

The dock can accommodate approximately 50 boats ranging from 6 to 9 meters in length. The pontoon dock is equipped with mooring arms; smaller berths have light mooring arms, while larger ones have walkways. The dock was fully renovated in 2016. A limited number of parking spaces (no charging stations) and a waste collection point are available nearby. The dock is secured with a locked gate, which can be opened by calling a service number (no additional fee for customers). It is also equipped with safety equipment.
