New Port Imatra
The New Port of Imatra is located on the shores of Lake Saimaa in the picturesque Lammassaari of Imatra. The port offers excellent water traffic connections to the Greater Saimaa area, all the way to Kuopio and Savonlinna, or via the Saimaa Canal to the Baltic Sea’s Gulf of Finland.
The area has excellent services: 24-hour fuel sales, a café, restaurants, and a travel parking area. On the opposite shore of the small boat harbor is the Imatra Spa, with numerous services and holiday accommodations. Also in close proximity is the Ukonniemi swimming beach. The Ukonniemi area includes an ice rink, the Aviasport Arena, tennis and padel halls, the Ukonniemi stadium with roller skiing tracks, and the Karhumäki sports field. The distance from the port to Imatra city center is approximately 6 km.
