Ohtakari

The pearl of the Ostrobothnian coastline: the idyllic and traditional fishing village of Lohtaja in Kokkola. The island at the end of Pengertie is surrounded by stunning Vattaja sandy beaches, the widest of their kind in Northern Europe. Ohtakari offers 47 seasonal mooring spots for rent. On the island, you’ll find, among other things, a fishing museum, a summer café, a barbecue shelter, a nature trail, and a viewing tower.
